Esther and Jo were both district nurses in the Cambridge area and both worked in numerous healthcare settings prior to this. In 2010 they had a vision to set up Future Care Solutions, to offer high quality social care to people in their own homes. To achieve this Esther and Jo knew they would need a team of individuals that are as committed and passionate about providing high quality care to clients in the local community as they are. Future Care Solutions is now proud to say that we have a team of over 40 people who all strive towards delivering care and support to people in their own homes with the upmost consideration, compassion and respect. Esther and Jo continue to enjoy working closely with all team members and visiting clients.

From their experience as district nurses they could see there was a real lack of quality care for people in their homes. “We really want to make a difference to people’s lives and help keep them in their homes longer, this has proven health and social benefits. We are enjoying the fresh challenge we are getting from our work and love the rewards of seeing our clients and their families more relaxed and able to spend quality time together”.



Care Manager

Mel joined Future Care Solutions in 2012 after working in the health and social care sector for over 30 years. Mel became Future Care Solutions Care Manager in 2019, Mel quickly adapted to this role bringing her wealth of experience to ensure our clients receive the best possible care and support in their own homes. Mel is passionate about providing high standards of care and support and works closely with all team members to ensure Future Care Solutions offers a seamless service.



Care Co-ordinator

Emma started working for Future Care Solutions in 2013. She was completely new to care but has thoroughly enjoyed it from the start. She has since progressed to a Senior Carer and then to Care Co-ordinator. Working both in the office and out in the community, still regularly visiting clients means that she can interact with clients for all aspects of their care needs and requests.



Office Manager

Karen joined Future Care Solutions when it was established in October 2011 after previously working at Cambridgeshire County Council for 12 years in Finance & Admin, School Transport and Social Services Older People’s Team, Karen also spent many years working in administration in the NHS working for the Assistive Technology Team and the Out of Hours Nursing Team. Karen shares the vision and strives behind the scenes to ensure the office runs smoothly.



Office Administrator

Ruth joined Future Care Solutions in July 2013 as an Office Administrator. Previously she’d worked as a Nanny for 13 years and during that time had two children of her own. In 2016 she obtained a BA honours in Psychology with the Open University.



Training Manager

Laura has been with Future Care Solutions since It first opened its doors. She began her care career supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities. In 2002 she joined the NHS working as a Therapy Assistant and later as a Health Care Assistant with the Out of Hours Nursing team where she met Esther & Jo. In 2013 the opportunity arose for her to use her skills, experience and recently gained qualifications to take on the role of Training Manager. To this day Laura continues to develop the training needs of the staff and enjoys the chance to work out in practice with her clients.
